3 Ingredient Nutella Brownies

Nutella brownies

I think I may have just found my favorite fast brownie recipe.
They may look unassuming and a little bit sloppy (I need to work on my pan filling skills...), but I promise you these brownies will exceed your expectations!
This recipe is legitimately faster than a box mix, and incredibly convenient if you have Nutella on hand.

All you need is:

Flour

Nutella brownies

Nutella

Nutella brownies

Eggs

Then you mix the three simple ingredients together...

...and bake them in a pan or in cupcake tins, depending on your preference. That's it! I made a half batch in a mini-cupcake tin.

I've been waiting for a chance to use these adorable cupcake liners. Cement trucks! So random. And cute. I love them.

These brownies are actually not overwhelmingly sweet, which I thought was a good thing, since Nutella itself can be tooth-achingly sweet. In brownie form, however, they somehow manage to be the perfect balance of chocolate and hazelnut flavor, now with a wonderful soft texture that's a bit chewy on the edges.

Here's the recipe:

Ingredients:

1 cup Nutella
2 eggs
10 tbsp all-purpose flour (I added a touch of leavening agents and a pinch of salt just for the heck of it, but these brownies don't require anything else!)

Directions:

1. Mix all three ingredients together until uniformly combined.
2. Pour into your pan of choice, and bake at 350F for about 30 minutes (shorten the time if you're using a muffin/cupcake tin.) As with all brownies, err on the side of underdone! Take them out once the center seems set.

I think I might throw some chocolate chips into the batter next time to make these brownies even more irresistible! This recipe is absolutely my new go-to quick brownie option :)

    1. It might be! I'm no expert, but I think this particular recipe, because it has so few ingredients, depends pretty heavily on exactly what's in the nutella. Perhaps take a look at the differences in ingredients between nutella and the hazelnut or chocolate spread you're using? Also, I used large eggs. Hope that helps!

  2. I am about to make a batch now. I've made them a couple times already and they always get scarfed down immediately. I've been wanting to try them with cream cheese. I'll let you know how it works out.
