Nutella "Truffles"
This is what happens when I have Nutella and chocolate on hand [as if Nutella weren't chocolatey enough.]
I was just messing around with a few ingredients - semisweet chocolate chips, Nutella, and Rice Krispie cereal. Essentially, I was imagining Ferrero Rocher chocolates without the nuts.

A non-recipe [I don't have any quantities and whatnot...] to make something like this:
1. Scoop out some Nutella into a bowl and refrigerate it [makes it easier to manage].
2. Crush some Rice Krispie [it just kills me to spell "krispie" that way, like it kills me to spell "Froot Loops" like that.] cereal in a bowl. How fine you want them is up to you.
3. When the Nutella is chilled [more solid than it is at room temperature], take it out. (Beware, though, Nutella cools down and warms up VERY quickly. It might help to work in small batches so it doesn't warm up again while you're trying to make the truffles.) You can do the next part in a few ways: if your Nutella is quite solid, you can directly scoop portions out and roll it into balls, then roll those in the Rice Krispie crumbs, coating them well. If, like me, your Nutella is finicky and you're short on time so you have to work with semi-chilled stuff, it might be easier to use 2 small spoons to shape a scoop into a roundish lump, then dump it into the Rice Krispies and shape it after it's been coated. Mine were eventually so soft I gave up on the sphere idea and went with sort of roundish flat shapes...
4. Pop the shaped truffle centers into the fridge or freezer [depending on how much time you have] so they can harden again.
5. When they're chilled once more, dip each one into melted chocolate, making sure it is completely covered before removing it and setting it on a surface lined with parchment paper. A fork might help with getting excess chocolate off while dipping.
6. Let them dry (in the refrigerator if you're in a hurry.)
7. Eat. We're not being fancy here. (;
